The Loomis Union School District Board of Trustees welcomes community participation and values the perspectives of students, parents, staff, and community members.

Public participation provides an opportunity to share comments, ask questions, and bring matters of interest to the District to the Board’s attention.

Community members are encouraged to attend Board meetings, review meeting agendas, and participate in the public comment process.

How to Participate in a Board Meeting

1. Review the Board meeting agenda

Review the agenda before the meeting to learn which topics the Board will discuss or consider for action. [View Board Meeting Agendas & Minutes]

2. Attend a Board meeting

Regular Board meetings are generally held at 6:00 p.m. in the H. Clarke Powers Elementary School Library, 3296 Humphrey Road, Loomis, CA 95650. Meeting dates, locations, and times may vary, so please check the posted agenda before attending. [Board Meeting Information]

3. Share your comments

If you wish to address the Board, you may complete a Public Comment Card available at the meeting and submit it to the designated staff member. The Board President will recognize speakers at the appropriate time. Each speaker is allotted three minutes to address the Board. Please be respectful of the time available and other participants.
