Notice of Public Hearing

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Loomis Union School District Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing, pursuant to Education Code section 47605(b), to take action on whether to approve or deny the Loomis Basin Charter School Charter Petition Renewal. The Loomis Basin Charter School Charter Petition Renewal was received by Loomis Union School District on January 23, 2026. Petitioners will have an opportunity to present evidence and testimony to respond to the staff recommendations and recommended findings that were posted on February 25, 2026.

Public hearing materials are available on our websites at District Website at loomisk8.org and LBCS Website at loomischarter.org and at the Loomis Union School District Office located at 3290 Humphrey Road, Loomis, CA 95650 and the Loomis Basin Charter School Office located at 5438 Laird Road, Loomis, CA 95650.
Parents, teachers, staff, community members, and bargaining units are encouraged to participate in this public hearing. Individuals who wish to provide public comment should complete a “Public Comment Card” (available at the meeting). The Board will allow each speaker 3 minutes.
